On September 20, 2014, Attivarti.org took part in the “Notte della Cultura” (Night of Culture) event in Grosseto, the main town in Southern Tuscany, with the installation of a “light pollution simulator” in a cafe in the centre of the city.

The model provides a schematic reproduction of a road crossing, a starry sky, and lights which can be fitted with different fixtures simulating the effect of dimming, cut-off, and providing a basis for discussion of other impacts of light pollution.

The event is part of the public outreach activities maintained by the BuioMetria Partecipativa project in Italy.
